The mandate of the Directorate of Students Welfare is to ensure the overall welfare of the students at various Colleges of the University. The Director of Students Welfare: arrange accommodation of students according to availability of rooms in various students’ hostels; arrange facility for student counselling; supervise the extra-curricular activities of the students; arrange programmes for employment and placement of the graduates of the University; organise and maintain contact with the alumni of the University; and perform other duties as may be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.
